Chris Morrissey's Standard Candle / Jeff Taylor (w/Jesske Hume & Josh Dion)
$10 Suggested Donation
Standard Candle is music originally written by Chris Morrissey for The Jazz Gallery's 2015 Residency Commission. It was premiered there, and has been played only rarely since. The songs are intended as monuments to mark a parting of ways, declarations of love for the world, prayers for understanding and spaces for Chris, Grey, Josh and Nick to explore.

Jeff Taylor - Guitar, Voice / Jesske Hume - Bass, Voice / Josh Dion - Everything
I will be singing with the Donny McCaslin Group as part of Winter Jazzfest 2017. In addition to Donny's original compositions, we'll be performing music by David Bowie. The Donny McCaslin Group served as Bowie's band on his final LP, Blackstar ★
Come on through for a stellar night of stripped-down music as five talented songwriters hit the stage to perform their work in the round. I will be joining host/singer-songwriter JEREMY SCHONFELD along with songwriters MAXIMILLIAN SANGERMAN, CASSANDRA KUBINSKI, and DANIEL PLENGE. Each will perform 3 original songs, telling the stories behind their music, and potentially jumping in to lend a musical helping hand for each other on a tune or two! Always a wonderful and intimate ride....Don't miss out!
Stage 2: Jeff Taylor w/ Jesske Hume, Matt Johnson, & Peter Lalish
Jeff closes out his Rockwood Stages Residency with a full band set on Stage 2, featuring Jesske Hume on bass, Matt Johnson on drums, and special guest Peter Lalish on guitar (and maybe a guest or two.)
Stage 3: Jeff Taylor and Friends
Jeff follows up the Stage 1 show by heading down to the cozy confines of Stage 3, and will be joined by many of his friends in the music world. Artists already confirmed include Jesske Hume (Miwi La Lupa), Matt Johnson (St. Vincent), Elizabeth Ziman (Elizabeth & The Catapult), Peter Lalish (Lucius), Andy Burri (Lucius), Ben Thornewill (Jukebox The Ghost), Dave Heilman (Sondre Lerche), Jason Lindner (Now vs. Now, David Bowie), Nate Wood (Kneebody), Kate Davis, Alex Chappo (Chappo), Alan Wilkis (Big Data), Steve Wall, and other surprise guests

Stage 1: Jeff Taylor w/ Marike van Dijk's Stereography Project
Jeff will be joined by Dutch composer/saxophonist, Marike van Dijk and her 12 piece string and wind ensemble, playing arrangements of Jeff's songs as well as some of Marike's compositions. This might just be the most musicians gathered in the intimate Stage 1 room, and will be a memorable and unique experience for those in attendance.
